Suceava, June 2014 The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Suceava (Romania) is the Beneficiary of a new project with European financing, called „Joint Business Support Centre – Instrument for fostering development of entrepreneurship in RO-UA-MD cross-border area (Jo.B.S. Center)”, MIS-ETC CODE: 1934. The project is implemented in partnership with the Center for Development and Reconstruction Bucovina (Ukraine), State University Alecu Russo from Balti (Moldova) and The Association for Economical and Regional Development “ADER” (Suceava, Romania). The workshop Professional training and strategic partnerships - a solution for the economic development of the border region RO-UA-MD was held from April 23 to May 8, 2014, in the three regions involved in the project: Suceava, Chernivtsi and Balti. In the workshop the topics included were: a presentation of the study "Identification of training needs in the cross-border area RO-UA-MD", presenting the future e-learning platform that will promote SMEs in the border region RO-UA-MD, organizing a networking game with the participation of companies from Suceava, Chernivtsi and Moldova, One of the important results of the workshop was the identification of the six training packages that will be delivered for free within the project. At this time the training manuals for these trainings are under preparation and also the signing of the partnership agreements between firms in Chernivtsi (Ukraine), Balti (Moldova) and Suceava (Romania), which will be aimed at strengthening trilateral relations.The number of these partnership agreements and the domain of the companies are presented in the following lines: - On 23.04.2014, in Chernivtsi, Ukraine there have been signed two partnership agreements, the activity field of the companies being: waste, wood process, furniture production. The agreements were signed as follows: between a firm in Romania and a firm in Ukraine and between an Ukrainian and a Moldavian firm;- On 30.04.2014, in Suceava, Romania there have been signed four partnership agreements, the activity field of the companies being: production, commercial, PVC plates, acquisition of gauze, deliver of finishing solutions. The agreements were signed as follows: 3 between a firm in Romania and a firm in Ukraine and between a firm in Romania and one in Moldova; - On 08.05.2014, in Balti, Moldova there have been signed four partnership agreements, the activity field of the companies being: wood delivery, constructions and architecture. The agreements were signed as follows: 2 between firms in Romania and firms from Moldova and one between a firm in Ukraine and one in Moldova.
